I already took the SAT subject tests once and did badly.
Math II: 730
Math I: 750
Spanish: 690 (I don't even know why I took it)

I know they are bad, I don't need to hear it again. For Math II I did no prep and didn't learn half the material. Since I want to major in engineering, I obviously need good Math II and Physics scores. I've never studied for any standardized test so I have no idea what is the best way to study. I am going to take the SAT IIs for Math II and Physics in October.
Names of helpful books for studying (just for Math II and Physics) or any other tips in getting good scores will be very helpful.
Any help is appreciated.

My son took those two. Never had studied for any test, much less a standardized one. Took a test in College Boards Math I/II book as pretest, didn’t do very well (<700), studied some out of Princeton Review Math II book, mostly taking the tests in there, and took the Math II test in the Big Blue CB book. Got 780 on Math.

For Physics, used the Spark Notes and reviewed it all. There was fair amount of stuff they had not covered in his Honors Physics class. Also got the PR physics book but just took a couple of tests as he ran out of time. Scored 650-700 on them but got 800 on the actual test. Go figure.

I think it’s all about being methodical and not getting frustrated along the way. Good luck.
