Math ii beyond confused

I saw TWO of College Boards old math II exams, and none of them have 3D cones, ellipses, or hyperbolas. Why does Barrons have that in there? I know its an over preparing book but if anyone ever took the MATH II, were there any hyperbolas and 3D cones and directrix/foci and all that junk?

I got an 800 on the Math II SAT using Barron’s like crazy. But, no, none of the conics and related knowledge was on the test. That said, if you want to guarantee a high score on the test, and even if you don’t, it really doesn’t hurt to know it. At the very least, it gives you a complete math knowledge?

I’m just time crunched and would rather perfect minor flaws than learn superfluous information ( only superfluous at this juncture of my life )
