<p>Math 2 is harder and is usually more widely accepted. Even so, Math 2's curves are very generous compared to Math 1's</p>
<p>^^Yes, I know that, but the application lists Math IIC as a different option than Math Level 2 and Math IC as a different option than Math Level 1...</p>
<p>im pretty sure it just means the date that you took the test. if you took it when it was still called math IIC, then mark that, but if you took it after it became math level two, mark that.</p>

<p>The IC and IIC are just older names for the same tests that got replaced when CB introduced their new SAT</p>
<p>At one time the CB maintained two versions of the Math II subject test - with and without calculator. Hence "C" for the calculator version. There now remains only one version and it permits the use of a calculator, but there is no need to make the distinction anymore.</p>
