Math II C?

I was wondering when you know when your ready for the Math II C exam. Right now, I'm in precalculus (also taking calculus at a local CC) and I;ve been getting As in it. I'm currently a freshmen and my parents are very hesitant to let me take it. I already took the SAT 1 and did pretty well on the math portion. Do you think I'm ready for it so when I'm a junior or senior I don't need to stress about it? Are there any tests online I could take to see how I could do on the actual exam? Thanks!

Past calculus, you won't learn anything that will help you on the Math 2. Its predominantly based off of precalculus. How well did you do on the math for the SAT 1

i only scored a 570 but I found that okay for someone that studied for 10 minutes the night before the test

you're taking calculus and pre calculus at hte same time?

well I'm taking precalculus at school and I'm taking calculus over the summer, but it started thursday.

Hmm... that sounds backwards to me. Take PREcalculus at school and calculus over the summer. Wierd...

no I'm already taking precalculus at school this year. Next year I take AP Calculus (for some reason they allow you to take Calculus at school and at a CC)

my advice, if you scored a 570 on the SAT 1... wait a bit longer for SAT 2,
maybe take it sophomore year?

Depends on the score you are aiming for.

and if you are getting a 570 on SAT 1 math, I don't know why you are in Precalc as a freshmen
I recommend a more solid foundation.

For good tech schools you should try getting a 750+ preferably 800 (800 only places you at 88% percentile which is pretty low)
and get your SAT 1 math to at least 750 , so that the only ones you get wrong are the stupid mistakes not the stuff you don't get.
know that for more difficult materials you'll be making more stupid mistakes.

I would wait until after you've taken Calculus. Many people feel prepared after completing Precalculus, but it doesn't really matter when you take it, as long as you get a satisfactory score. So there's really no point in taking it a year or two early.
