I read threads saying how Barrons and Rush was harder, but I've been scoring anywhere from 650-750 on these tests.

Today, I took a cb test from the offical math guide and got an 800. I'm just confused. Is the actual test that much more easier than barrons and rush? Cause I didn't see any questions on limits, complex matricies, etc.. on the actual one I took. Do these topics appear on the actual test? I haven't learned some of the topics Rush and Barrons test. Will this be a problem??

^ wait ari...30-35 raw score or scaled score? and also how are sparknotes tests compared to the real thing? and woah u serious? *** is rush lol i've never hard of anything harder than barrons

Rush is basically all the "hard" questions on a test.
whats why it's considered hard.

Sparknotes has VERY weird test results for me.
i've gotten 720 and 800 on back to back testing respectively.
thats a difference of about ~12 raw points for me.

wait is it ok to use programs on the sat? cuz i have many of them (makes some of the questions hella quicker)...ive never seen proctors check calculators tho

I would assume its okay to use programs..I mean if they say we are allowed to use ti-84's and ti-89's they should be aware of the capabilities. Otherwise it wouldn't make sense....

I'm using Barron's, and it's driving me insane. I looked up a solution and got, "Use this program we provided on page whatever." I was like...

Oh, I'm so screwed. I took pre-calc last year, and I no longer remember anything about matrices, probability, vectors, polar coordinates, or conics.

what are some of the more obscure topics that are definitely tested on the real thing?
i know for sure some of them include matrices, standard deviation
