I've gotten the barron's book and have been going through the practice tests, but everytime I take a test, I end up leaving so many blank because I cannot get to them in time. Last time, I left 15+ blank!!! What is a way that I can prepare myself to do these problems faster? I really want a 750+.

Start using calculator more efficiently.

if you can find rusen meylani’s book, get it. it’s tough but includes any kind of questions that may appear in the test. so, you will be familiar with the every question. it helps you to save time.

I would suggest not to use the Barron’s book… it is much harder than the actual test. Don’t worry.

Barron’s is excellent, but it is meant to be challenging (perhaps more so than the test). Just focus on the sections that gave you trouble and don’t stress over the overall score (unless you truly failed).

Barrons is way harder than the real thing. You can still use it, but if you want to get a better idea of how you will do on the real thing, get the book the college board puts out with 2 practice tests. Don’t sweat it. Last year my son took his first practice test and didn’t even score a 600 - This is a kid who is a pretty advanced math student. Part of the problem was that he couldn’t get through all the problems in an hour. Practice really helps with that. Anyway, he took lots of practice tests and ended up with a 770 on the real thing. Good luck!

I slowly seem to be getting better at the barron’s tests, but I keep running out of time. The highest I’ve gotten is a 630, and i feel pitiful. Boomie, would you mind specifying which practice tests he took?
