What books should I study for the Math II exam. I have barrons, but it is the old 7th edition is that okay. I also have the collegeboard book. My problem is that I have only taken trig at school and no calculus, is that a problem for the Math II exam

the math II exam only goes up to trig so that's perfect :]
barron's is the way to go...i don't think the editions make much of a difference unless it's really really old
i only used barron's and CB and got 800

hey froozle, what other SAT II's have u taken

I agree barrons is the best for math IIc and it also got me an 800

barrons is okay. I was completely lost, but I had only half of Algebra II and half of Precalc (long story), so I hadn't learned very much of the material.

barrons still got me a 750, so I was happy :)

I used Kaplan and got an 800. But I went through all 200 pgs of review material the day before the test, so I actually used all of the book.

Lakers/medic fan: i also took chem

i also used kaplan. i had barron's, but did not use it due to its absolute overpreparation.

i got an 800

hey froozle, how did you do on chem and what books did u use

i started with Barron...but it was too confusing so i switched to PR. After I read through the PR book, i tackled Barron again, this time it actually made sense.

using both PR and Barron's helped me get a 790 on Math IIC.
pretty good in my book, considering i had nightmares of getting a 650. LOL

if you've had a decent trig teacher, math II shouldn't take too much studying...

i used PR but mainly Barron's and got a 790 :]
