Any formulas I should know/store ? Any quick tips?

Im using the Barrons Book, but a few concepts don't make any damn sense to me.

Hey, I’d suggest you look at this thread:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-subject-tests-preparation/544092-complete-guide-sat-subject-tests-mathematics.html

It helped me a lot when I was trying to figure out how to study for Math 2. As for storing formulas, I did that for quite a few concepts (mostly the trig stuff and a few shortcuts like a program to add up consecutive numbers) but ultimately didn’t need any of them on the test. So it’s up to you if you want to store stuff in your calculator. Considering you haven’t taken precal, I’d suggest you store the crazy trig stuff that’s kind of hard to understand, like the law of sines and cosines.

If you want an 800…

 1. Buy the Barrons book and the Collegeboard SATII Math book.
 2. Do a LOT of practice tests. A 740+ on Barrons is equivalent to an 800 on the real thing.
 3. Get really familiar with your graphing calculator. Install a bunch of apps and take notes to help remember some of those tricky formulas.

You should take Math 2 if you have taken Precalculus or are applying to really selective schools. Some schools only accept Math 2.
