Earlier this year I took the Math 2 Subject test and got a 720.
I don't know how I could have missed that many problems, and I even got an 800 on the CB practice test...
I know I can do better, but is it really worth it to retake a subject test?
Any input appreciated.

depends on what schools you're aiming for and what major
i would only retake if
1) you plan on majoring in math or science
AND
2) you want to go to an ivy

just to note CB tests tend to be easier : /

Yeah, if you're looking at very selective schools, a 720 isn't too hot. Don't overlook subject tests either; they can be very important and hold a lot of weight.

Since 10% of test takers get an 800, a 720 isn't going to look that great at a good school. I would go for it again, studying with Barron's this time.

Thanks for the input.
I'm now fairly certain that I'll take it again. Just out of curiosity, why is Barron's considered good? I took a couple of practice tests on Barrons, and it was very unrealistic.
Do people like Barron's for their tests or for the actual review material?

The review material is thorough. And, the tests, while a lot harder, are still good because they test relevant concepts just at a higher level. It's not like you're doing irrelevant math; the actual test is just a watered down version of the same concepts tested on Barron's practice tests.
