Hey guys, I plan on talking the sat math II and was wondering which would be the best review book. I am not bad at math, but I am not amazing either. I get As in my math classes (gemometry, algerbra 2, etc.) but I need a book that does a good job at reviewing the information. Can anyone help me out? THANKS!

Barron’s is the best review book for Math II =)

i used barron’s and collegeboard’s, don’t know about the others but heard from a friend that kaplan’s a little bit easier than the real thing.
Barron’s is way harder than the real test and cover a lot of unnecessary info.
I got a mid 700s in Barrons but score 800 on the real thing.

Collegeboard’s is a good practice. I suggest using it near the test time to boost confidence and get a feel of the real test.

I would definitely use Barron’s, at least to get a mastery of the topics covered. It’s true that the practice tests from Barron’s are MUCH harder than the actual test, but that really helped me. Because some of the topics aren’t taught at my school, the unnecessarily hard questions helped to ‘lock in’ those concepts. And, it’s a great boost on test day to look at the test and realize that most of the questions are easier than what you’ve prepped for.

I personally didn’t use the collegeboard practice test book, but Smiley has a good point. Barron’s will give you good practice of the topics, but Collegeboard would probably give you a better feel for the actual test.

Oh, and when I took the SAT 2 math, the questions seemed more… tedious(not sure if that’s the best way to describe it) than any practice questions I saw. Like, the concepts and questions were more straightforward, but required a lot of work or calculations, making it easier to make a silly mistake. IDK, it might have just been a quirk of that particular date.

HAve you guys seen that "fun with math"review some guy made or something like that?

I have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about, so no, I guess.
