Okay, I know these two exams are on totally different subjects and it’s hard to compare them, but I would appreciate any insight. I’m taking two subject tests in june, one will definitely be lit and then I’m in between math and chem for the second. Math ii is supposed to have an easier curve, but it’s been a while since I’ve been in precalc and I seriously don’t remember much. I also already got an 800 on the regular SAT I math, so I’m not sure if it would look redundant to take another math test. I want to major in bio in college and i really like science, hence chem, but I haven’t taken AP Chem yet so I’m worried I might be at a disadvantage on the subject test.
Which one do you think I should take? And if you’ve taken both, can you compare their overall difficulty levels?
Do you where you are applying yet? Some schools (MIT, Cal Tech, Harvey Mudd) and some engineering programs (Johns Hopkins, others) require a Math subject test. Here is a link to a list from a test prep company that I think is accurate. http://www.■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■/subject-test-requirements-and-recommendations/
@uesmomof2 the main school i’m thinking of is Georgetown, and according to the list they don’t really have any special preferences. I’m definitely not applying to any of the tech schools/hopkins programs (i’m not down with engineering)
