I just have one question: What is the difference between the subject test math II and math II C? Thanks

Math IIC, I believe, is just the old name for the Math Level II test. They just dropped the “C”

It’s the same thing. To my knowledge, the math subject tests in the past differed on calculator usage, so the “C” was there to show that a calculator could be used. Now that all Math Subject Tests are calculator-OK, there’s no need for the “C.”

Anybody know for sure why the “C” used to be there? I know that they’re definitely the same test.

^ Pretty sure you’re right, the “C” stood for “calculator”.

Oh okay thanks guys. I just needed to know because the Common App has a place to put your subject test scores and under the drop down selections, it had both math IIC and math II. Now I know which to put.
