I'm a freshman, but I'm taking pre-calc this year. Apparently, it is best to take Math II immediately after you complete pre-calculus. If this is the case, I either have to take it Oct. 1st (next year and next school year), or on June 2nd (next year, but this school year). I'm worried that if I take it in June, it will conflict with my heavy workload and I won't get enough time to prep. Likewise, if I were to take it in October, I'd probably forget all the material. What should I do???
Thanks

I took it this past weekend and I’m a senior who finished Calc BC last year. I don’t think it really matters as long as you review a bit before the test. If I were you, I’d take it in June - I think you’ll find the time to do a few practice tests and stock up on formulas on your calculator (which I should’ve done, but didn’t).

I’d just take it in June. Maybe review a few concepts just to make sure, but everything should be pretty fresh in your head at that point. In my experience (and others may disagree), taking a subject test in the spring just after finishing the class with minimal other prep is essentially the same as taking it in the fall or other time with actual prep for it. Either way works; it’s more a personal preference thing.
