Should I take Math 2 after I finish Algebra II or should I wait longer?

What year are you? A lot of it is what you learn in pre-calculus or for some Math analysis. If you have a lot of time, there is no point to take it just yet. Get the most from algebra 2, so then there is less information that you’ll need to cram. See where you are then.

I guess I’ll just take it next year. I’m most likely not going to be taking pre-calculus so what topics would I need to learn from it that would apply to the Math II test?

I took it this year right after I finished Algebra 2/Trig and got a 800. I would say that MOST of the topics on Math II are covered in Trig- NOT in precalculus. If you’re not planning on taking pre-calculus, then I would suggest taking it asap after finishing Trig so you don’t forget what you learned. To know more about what topics are on it, I suggest the “Official College Board” book and the Princeton Review book for Math II. They helped me a lot. You could use them to go over what precalc topics you need to study. Good luck!
