So im going through the barrons book right now and im a little worried. I familiar with precalcus because I had it last year, but i absolutely hate conics. Since the barrons devotes a decent portion of the book I am getting worried. Also, I am not that good with probability. My question is how much are these two topics on the subject test?

Not exactly sure, but I know I run into at least 2 questions of each type on most tests. So together, maybe 5 at the most, which is 10% of the test. Someone else could probably give you more accurate information.

Barrons goes overboard with conics. Just know the equations for conic shapes (ex: ellipse equation is x^2/a^2 + y^2/b^2 = 1) and how to solve conic questions that involve completing the square. There are really not that many questions at all on Math II on conics, usually 1-2 if any. There aren’t that many questions on probability either, maybe 2 max.

How is the Barron’s book overall?Im preparing from that and Im currently getting 10 wrong and 2-3 omit which puts me to a 650.Its making me real worried.
