<p>Are hyperbolas on the test?</p>
<p>Bump. I dislike all conics lol.</p>
<p>Probably one hyperbola at the most. TBH they’re really not hard. I just learned major/minor axis on ellipses and the format of hyperbolas. Hyperbolas is the one with a “-” and ellipses have a “+”. You want each to = 1 so yo sometimes have to do some dividing.</p>
<p>Aside of that, parabolas and circles are hella easy so don’t hate conics too much.</p>
<p>They don’t ask very difficult conics questions. I’ve gotten the major/minor axis on several practice tests I’ve taken, though. You should know which equation yields a certain conic section.</p>
