<p>hey, did any of you guys use barrons or mcgraw hill as prep for the math2c exam? just specifically for practice tests (not reviewing), how did you find it? accurate?</p>
<p>and if you wouldn't mind, i'd appreciate what you got on the practice ones and then the real one.</p>

<p>Barron’s is widely acknowledged to be a lot harder than the real thing. I scored 600s on the practice tests and then an 800 on the real thing.</p>
<p>Spark notes is a favorite of a lot of people, and it’s free. I got like 750s on their practice tests and the questions reflected the actual material well.</p>
<p>I second Randwulf and would like to add that McGraw Hill is great for both reviewing and practice testing. You can also try Kaplan if you have the time to cover all these books</p>
<p>I got 800 on the real thing
usually 750-790 on all of the aforementioned prep books. I have heard, however, that people tend to do poorly on Barrons, yet got 800 on the actual test (we are talking about scores in the range of 650-680 Barrons and then 780+ on the SAT)</p>

I did all mcgraw hill tests, got 800’s but they were pretty accurate and great practice, then I did all barrons, scores fluctuates from 650-740, then I did all sparknotes and princeton as well, both of which were average, but I got all 800’s. I think McGraw hills + barrons is the best combination and more than enough tests. I got an 800 eventually btw</p>
<p>I got exasperated with Barrons and gave up halfway. I was getting 650s-700s. It seems superfluous to me; the book covers material not even on the test and just makes you feel overwhelmed.</p>
<p>I switched to Sparknotes. They have their entire book published [SparkNotes:</a> SAT Subject Test: Math Level 2](<a href=“http://www.sparknotes.com/testprep/books/sat2/math2c/]SparkNotes:”>http://www.sparknotes.com/testprep/books/sat2/math2c/) for free online; I used that and took the free tests. I was getting 780-800s on the free Sparknotes ones.
A week before I took an official test (from blue book) and got a 780.
The night before I took the final official and got an 800.
Actual: 800</p>

<p>=D thanks so much you guyysss!! k, i might just go with mcgraw hill. i’m not all that confident (definately not 800 material) so i’d probably just cry if i used barrons. </p>
