also, the question that asked, what hapens if f(x) is transfromed to g(x)= k - f(x)...i answered choice C, which was the graph reflected over the X axis...?

Oh for the substitute "-x" and get the same equation one i got b: x^6 - x^5 + 3x = 0

it becomes: x^6 - (-x^5) -3x = 0

Which is the same thing

Yes- it was C for the k-f(x) and yes it was the equation with the number to the sixth power( I didn't do it like that though- I graphed it and saw that the only solution was 0, and the opposite of 0 is still 0).

I got 10t-60 too.

I said that the guy's distance was 50t, and the girl's distance was 60(t-1). Then I distributed, subject the girl's distance from the guy's, and subtracted.

I also got 1/pi for the other thing. But I definately put that 3 planes intersect only in a point :-/.

|10t-60|!!

i really hate this feeling, i could have gotten that -x substitution ? right, the cylinder ? right, the distance b/w cities A and B ? right, and possibly the man/woman ? right, if i just thought about it a lil more

sigh actually, now i can't even remember if i put -50 or -60 for that absolute value one. -.-

how bout the |x^3 - 5| < 8.....i got the numbers right, by solving for -x^3 +5 < 8, and x^3-5 < 8 ???where did i go wrong

what was the funct that we had to find a period? and what was the answer?

1/pi was the ans

1/2pi?????'

no, the period of sin is 2pi, and the coeff of x was 2, so 2pi/2 = pi, and frequency = reciprocal of period, so, 1/pi

was the answer to that one question (that I forget), 2.35 >= x?

wat two equations did u have to solve for inorder to get ur answer, im talkin bout the |x^3-5| < 8 question

u guys get a max of 11.81? when multiplying two trig binomials, i dont remember them..

Yeah I got 11.81 for the two trig functions.

I got 12 for the sin and cos one (I think).

Do you remember what you did? I graphed mine and looked for the highest point on the graph and did the maximum thing on the calculator.

11.8.... I actually had time to take the derivative and check lol

lolllllllll
