Math IIC does not test half angle/sum and difference identities?

Is this true? It says that those formulas were taken out of Barrons when it was updated. Has anyone encountered these on a real CB test?

i took a practice college board test and i found a question on it but i’m not sure if it will be on the jun 2010 one because the test i took is 2008. but still it doesnt hurt to study them

I was wondering the same thing. I’ve been looking through Barrons and they do cover double angles though, so I guess if it was necessary they would have reviewed half-angles then as well, but that’s just me.

Double angle is def. on it. But I’m still wondering about the other annoying formulas

@thatscool… where did you get that practice test?

bumpppppppp

this test prep center that i go to has some copies that they pay for so yeah

Double angle was on my test in May.

Why don’t you guys just write it into your calculator?

well you really dont need to know the formulas for the exam.
It’s much easier to simply substitue values in for variables.

Or then again you could always put the forumulas into programs on your graphing calculator. lol

Yup there was a double angle one on the may test.

But it really is not necessary to know the formulas; it is usually just easier to use youir calulator, even though it may take more time.
