Math IIC- Least=squares regression??

<p>On the CB Subject Test packet thing it has "least-squares regression (linear, quadratic, exponential)" listed under Statistics. What is that exactly? Can someone link me to where I can learn it? Is it going to be on the test?</p>

<p>That's probably referring to regression on your calculator (least-squares likely refers to the way the calculator computes it), under the Statistics menu. Press the statistics button and put in a set of x-y pairs. Then find the appropriate function in the statists menu (LinReg, QuadReg, ExpReg, etc.) Your calculator will spit out the equation for a line of best fit.</p>
