Math IIc prep book

I plan to take the Math IIc in November. I know it's a long time from now, but I was wondering if I could get a head start on a little studying. My question is--What book should I get? I heard barron's is impossible, and if you can ace barron's, you're in a good shape. Though, I want somethign to prepare me for the test, not kill me on the way to the test so I can die in peace during the test.

Is there a book any of you have studied with and recommend?

Just use Barron's. It's the most comprehensive, and you'll go in on test day feeling confident. It'll overprepare you, but it'll also give you the 800. Good luck!

If you really don't want to use it right away, work your way up to it. Get through the basics with other books like Sparknotes and PR - which are usually easier than the exam. Once you've mastered those and pretty confident you'll get at least 700+, start with Barron's and go as far as you can.

Would you recommend Sparknotes/PR for the 2c exam for someone who is taking Alg 2 with no background information in pre-calc?

Well, I think because time is permitting I will use barron's.

Thanks all

Yeah, start off with the basic books like PR that offer simplified explanations even though they don't go too in depth.
