Math Iic Rec?!?

Stanford says on their site that they recommend you take the math IIC as one of your SATIIs. Do you think that not taking it would hurt you if you are a pure humanities major whos SAT I math mark shows that you can do math but just dont like it (740 math, 800 CR, 760 Writing)

I would recommend that you do Math IIC, regardless of your major.

Take IIC, even if you're not that strong at math. It's not that much harder than IC, and the curve is MUCH more generous.

Depending on which math courses you've taken, IIC can be easier than IC because it tests skills you're taught in later classes, while IC is from earlier courses you might have forgotten a bit.

Yeah, I should have done IIc, cos most of the stuff in Ic I'd forgotten and had to revise!!! Also, play to your strengths - I'm terrible at geometry and much better at trig but did not realise this until after the Ic exam. D'oh.
