<p>Should I retake the math IIC w/ a score of 730? I'm applying to CMU, JHU, Notre Dame, Bucknell, Lehigh, Lafayette, and Case Western. I will be applying for engineering, so I feel this score may look low with my 760 math on the SAT reasoning.</p>
<p>I got the same score( 730 though I did worse than you on my math reasoning>). Well anyways I'd say study and retake. I'm thinking that the curve is so generous that colleges might look down on our score, specially if you want to do engineering ( same for me, cause I want to do math and econ). So yeah...I'm gonna retake, but I guess its up to you.</p>
<p>i got a 740 and am not going into engineering. I too will retake because the curve for Math IIC is so generous, and if you look at the thread where they're posting scores, 800s were achieved on the Math IIC more than anything. I think colleges will look at that score with scrutiny.</p>
