I am a Junior right now in high school and I am leaning towards going to Business school for Undergrad. I was wondering which part of Business uses the most math and how much? Also, what type of math?

Economics by far uses the most math. Calculus is required for economics majors. Usually economics majors are required to take the higher level calculus that math/science majors take.

If you’re going to get a phd in econ, then you are going to need high levels of math. An undergrad BBA with a concentration in Econ (taught in a business school) will typically require less math than a BA or BS in Economics, that are typically found in a school’s science department. Most consider Econ to be a “soft science”, as opposed to math/bio/chem/physics which are categorized as “hard sciences”. Doesn’t have anything to do with the difficulty of the majors, but rather that absolutism of their processes.
