Math in economics classes

Hey everyone,

I'm an entering IR major thinking of concentrating in International Economics. Problem is, I'm pretty terrible at math but I absolutely loved high school econ and did pretty well in it.

Question is, what kind of math/how much of it is required for the intermediate and advanced economics classes? I won't get into game theory or any of that but I'll probably take Advanced Macroeconomics.

Thanks for your help!

PS. Totally unrelated but is it true that you can only do one minor?

Looks like you only need introductory calculus, which is limits and differentiation.

Okay, great thanks a lot! I think I’ll go ahead and take Math 5 and Math 11. Not going to deal with Math 12…
