This may seem like a dumb question but I'm not sure - I'm a member of the math league team at my school but its a mess of a club sortof so I go to do the tests every month but dont realize what else happens to them - apparently the math league at our school has won regional team awards, but for the college application as a member of the team, do I put those awards down since their team awards or not since "I" didnt individually win em?

Are the tests 6 questions each for 30 minutes?

If so... www.mathleague.com is the website.

There are both individual and school champions.

Hope this helped.

Ah yep that

so I guess it means nothing then if the school did good if I'm not individually listed on the monthly reports?

Ya, I'm sorry.

well it was just a hope lol

I'm curious, also. So, if we did score perfect numerous times throughout the year, it is perfectly acceptable to say on apps that we contributed to the team's performance? I mean, there doesn't seem to be any kinda rule against writing w/e on ur app, though the effect varies prolly

Yes, if you scored perfects on some tests, you contributed to your team's performance.

If you are on the leaderboard, that helps even more.

.....so, Jenkster, you would think this something worthy of mention on the application?

It depends on how strong your other achievements are.

Since you're very interested in Stanford, you probably have awards and activities much more significant than a 6/6.

Edit: Well, if you had perfect scores numerous times, you should be on the leaderboard, and if you were on it, you should include it (especially if you're from a competitive state like Virginia or California).
