Okay, so I'm a pretty good math student and get high marks on school math tests. However, when I sat down to take an official college board math level 1 test, I scored a 740 :(

What books cover all the material needed and have practice tests that are harder than the real thing so that I can score an 800?

Don't take Math Level 1. The curve is nasty on Math 1. I took it last year, and I do really well in math as well. I got a 680 on the real thing, and I thing I lost 3 or 4 points off the raw score.

yuck, i took math I this may but felt confident bout it (sure about only one that i missed cuz i guessed on it) i hope i dont get too low of a score from stupid mistakes

im def takin math 2 next year too and i hope that the math I curve was not a killer

ummm math two is supposed to be harder, but if you feel you are a good math student, why not take it? Its not bad at all. Pretty easy for good students..

Math 2 has a nicer curve though. You can get a 33/50 and still make the 700. Where as on Math I, you'll be in the high 500s range if you get that raw score.

Well, math I is a little more involved than sat math, but they both test completley different things. sat math tests reasoning skills while math I tests how good you are at math!
