OK so maybe the title's a little exaggerated. Nevertheless, I am quite upset about scoring a RAW 34/50 on the Barrons Diagnostic Test I took this morning. I know everyone says that Barrons is harder than the real test but my score just doesn't seem competitive IMO. So, does anybody have any idea what this score on a Barrons practice test would translate to on the real Math Level 2 Collegeboard test(on the 800 point scale)??? Your help is greatly appreciated!!!

I got almost the same score the first time i took the diagnostic test. Just keep practicing and you'll do fine, I got a 780 in Dec.

i just don't understand why the hell ppl bother to even touch barron's for SAT II Maths....its way too advanced....but still if you can't resist it then just do the basic concepts especially the Miscellaneous part...but NEVER the TESTS!!!....i would recommend PR or Kaplan for tests...but still if you want 'relative' score then a score of around 700 in Barrons is equivalent to an 800...this is what i have gathered from others and can be ghastly inaccurate!! dude Maths II is very easy and you can make that out from the percentile you get after scoring an 800 on the real test....a measely 88% !!...thats bull!!

Does 720 warrant a retake?

If you think you could've done better, then you should retake.

I was scoring 20/50 on the Barrons and ended up with a 770 on the real Math IIC. Not bad considering I hadn't done trig in over two years.

uh i got an 800 after giving up on the barrons test

it might be ok to practice using barron's, but it has no relation to the actual test

relax -- I took it, and got around a 30 the first time I did a Barron's practice test. When the actual test came around, I finished every problem with time to spare and got an 800. Do not be discouraged. That book is way too hard, but you'll be fine.
