Math Level 2

I am going to cover barrons tonight and take the test tomorrow. How cool is that. I have 7 hours till midnight.
In my breaks I have to review some chem :D

I feel so sad. I took a practice test from the Sparknotes book and got a 570... :(

hey, you're better than me lil_killer... i only got a 530 on the online one!

btw... have you both tried PR?? do you know if its more true to the real thing than Barrons... b/c the barrons tests make me feel pathetic

Nope. The reason I got a 570 was because I am self-studying right now, and I didn't cover half the book yet. I only got up to rational functions.

And satkid11, when are you taking the 2c? I am taking it in June along with Physics.

you lucky duck! mine's tomorrow! fat chance of me doing well huh? sigh.... i think i'll have to cancel my score before i leave the room or whatever, and try again in may... hopefully this will teach me a good lesson: DO NOT PROCRASTINATE!!!......ugh! when will i ever learn... oh boy, i'm starting to sound like my mom! =)

my message^ was for lil_killer btw...=)

haha i'm taking the math2c test tomorrow as well.. i've been trying to cram as many practice tests as i can in the past two days .. i've taken tests from a bunch of diff books and pr and sparknotes are basically about the same as collegeboard. barron's is ridiculously harder and will make your confidence shoot WAY DOWN =( ackkk.. i ran outta practice tests and i only have one more left =( and i still haven't reached my goal score.. hopefully i will improve in the next 6 hours?!?!?! haha good luck to everyone taking sats tomorroww~

Hi, I'm taking the 2C tomorrow as well....What are those practice tests online? Are they free? I've been doing soo many practice tests, and I get worse as I go. I took the REAL SAT II test, and it was easier than the fake ones like REA and stuff....advice? any free practice quesitons or tests online? running out of time...

riss11, if you get worse as you take more tests, I would advise you to take a break.

sooo... what do you guys think... i just finished a PR practice test and got a 560...ugh! what a horrific score! screams =O

i really wouldn't like a 560 on the real thing, so do u guys think that if i feel this bad after the real thing tomorrow, i should the cancel the score right away? or should i risk it? URGH! Procrastination and Indecison do NOT make the best tonic for confidence....

Yes, you should cancel it if it were the case.

hi lil_killer,

so it'll say "CANCELLED" on my report huh?

does anyone think that that will look bad to colleges?

do colleges even see that you canceled?

in response to riss11, the only free online practice test is the the one they have on sparknotes.com. you need to create an account first and then go to the math2c test center.

satkid - after taking both the real collegeboard sat2math2c test and the pr one.. i would say that they are pretty similar.. so what you get on pr will probably be approx. your score on the real test. however, i've managed to improve my score by about 100 points in just 2 days after taking ~8 practice tests and going over answers.. so there's hope for you to improve by tomorrow if you study hard =)

I took it today and Barrons is pretty inaccurate. My average was around about low 600s, and in PR, I got about 750ish and in kaplan i got 800. I would say PR tests were simliar to the test. (i omitted 4)

yeah it is inaccurate. i did cover 90% of the book before I passed out last night and i didn't use anything i learned on today's test. it was all stuff that i knew and it felt like level 1.

Can someone tell me if I'm on the right track:

I got a 19 (raw score) on the barron's test and it's been about a year since I've taken precal. My SAT II on it is in April. Am I doomed to get a miserable score?

Well, atleast you're better than me. I got a 22 (raw score) on the sparknotes.

Does anybody know what raw score it takes on the barrons to get close to 800 on the real thing? Is having 19 as raw score 2 months before the test on track?
