For the graphing calculator, TI-84+ silver edition, I believe there is a way to input formulas rather than having to memorize them. As this is very helpful with trigonometry, are we allowed to do so?

beyond the law of sines and cosines you should not need any other important formulas.
but the easiest way is to store it as a program.

^Really? So we won’t have to know the addition theorem, half, double angle formulas, etc?

at least on my test there weren’t any. If I were you, I would memorize law of sines, cosines, and the area formula (0.5abcosC) and program the rest in. there’s a remote chance that you might need the rest. And even if you did, often it’s faster to do the calculations on the calculator and compare answers.
ex. find the cos of 15. much faster to run it on your calculator, and compare answers.
double angle formulas aren’t too hard to memorize
but I took it only knowing law of sines and cosines, and got a 800

Alright, thanks for the help! I think I’ll probably memorize just in case. I haven’t taken pre-calculus yet so everything is strictly self studied right now.
