^ its not D?

For some reason, I was thinking that the answer choices were in order from least to greatest, but that’s the ACT. So yeah, I don’t know. lol

the marble one was 1/27. I’m pretty sure. I made a tree diagram (something i learned it ap stats) to make sure. Omg so awk if i was wrong hahaha

isnt it just 1/3 * 1/2 = 1/6

It was 1/6. lol

You use counting. How many different combinations can you make?
3 * 2 * 1 = 6.
Only one of those combinations was red, then green, and then blue.

If you cancel do colleges know? I don’t feel confident at all. First subject test and I clearly did not prepare well enough. How do you all prepare? I feel like I need to cancel. Will it be known if I cancel?

^nope. I did badly my first time too. Didn’t cancel though.

And then you retook? Do you have to send both scores in if you at first do poorly and then improve? What do you think I should do?

Well the first time I took it, everyone told me you don’t have to study for it and you can get a 800. So I didn’t study much but when I took it and I felt as if I didn’t do too badly. I did about 50 points below what I thought I got. For top tier schools, I think Yale, Columbia, and Upenn are the main universities that want to see all of your SAT subject test scores but consider your highest ones.

Thank you. Would anyone care to share how they prepare?

Almost positive that the circle question with tan(120) should be 1.73, not -1.73. Although tan(120) is usually negative, the problem showed you a circle. It does not make sense for the answer to be negative in a circle. In a coordinate plane, yes. In a circle, no.

I also think I got 4 or 5 for the population question, whatever it was, you had to round it up.

In order to help ease everyone’s concerns, remember that usually a 44 is an 800. In the College Board practice book (with past administered tests), every test I took I got around 45 or 46, and the lowest you could get to get an 800 was a 44. Therefore, a 42-43 should be at least a 780-790. This test today was not any easier than the practice tests I did, I omitted 5 and got at most 1 or 2 wrong. I think I got 780-800!

Didn’t the circle have a radius of one?
Therefore it’s a unit circle, so yes, it’s negative.

For the tan(120) one, I think it only asked for the tangent for the angle. You don’t need to consider other stuff.

letter answer to last question anyone? ._.

we covered 45/50 questions so far. only missing 5

Oh, you’re right the relatively prime must have been on Math I, I took both today. Sorry about that.

i think its B the last one

What did you guys get on 20? (the population increase question) people have been saying 3,4 and 5 years so I’m unsure which one it is

im pretty sure its 4, what letter did you get for the last problem? thanks
