Math Level II December 3, 2011 Curve/Discussion

???

Easier than October’s, and more at the same level of difficulty as the CB practice tests. Got 770 last time. Hopefully I’ll get 800 this time!

so do you guys think it’s possible to still get an 800 if i got two wrong?

For the population one I got 3.6 or something like that so I put 4…

how much could i get if i got 7 wrong with no omit

What are the chances a raw score of a 43 will be an 800?

Dosen’t matter if the tangent was in the circle or not. Tan 120 is always negative.

what letter did you get for the last problem? thanks

@nikang 7 wrong makes for about 770.

Does anyone remember the answer to the standard deviation question?

it was A. the chart with the single bar at 80

Is there a consolidated list on this thread somehwere?

The standard deviation was indeed A, the single 80, since with logic if all the scores were the same then there was no deviation, thus it was 0. and there are a few lists on earlier posts, not in any particular order however.

The list of questions I mean

around 7

10 char

For the question where the answer was (2, sqrt(4)/3), does anyone remember the equation of the ellipse or circle (whatever it was)?

if i omitted 16, is around 700 still attainable?

If you get nothing else wrong, then maybe 700-710.

I have a question guys. Does it look bad to top schools (HYPSM) if I take the Math II 3 times? Should I cancel this one?
I took the October Math II too and thought that this test was harder. Partly, there was an accident with my graphing calculator so I borrowed a scientific one. There were many questions on this test that I could’ve solve with a calculator. Ugh.
I skipped 7 questions. I probably made some mistakes too.

If you’re sure you can get an amazing score, you should probably cancel and retake. It doesn’t look bad if you take it a couple of times, but if it was the calculator’s fault, then it’s not worth it to keep an unrealistic score on your file.
