And yes it was area of rectangular Prism as i remember quite clearly.

What is the curve based on then? I don’t remember anything about inscribed.

(x+2)/(x-2)

i think x = 3.5 so 3.67 is correct. i got that too

my bad it wasnt inscribed, it was just inside of another shape. not all the vertices met the outside figure.

curve is based getting all students to get the average. Usually by finding the questions that they know most students cant get rite and adding that number to like some of the tricky medium difficulty ones

thats y the average SAT score is like 1520 and not 1500. collegeboard tries to get it as close to 1500 as possible.

this is atleast what i read.

physicsboy32
wasn’t it "box"1 not 1?

What were you guys aiming for beforehand?

Edifier: Volume or area of rectangular prism??..

wizkid
If 3.67 was the answer then the question had to be “what does (x+2)/(x-2) approach as x approaches 3.5?”

I was aiming for a 800. now i think i got 750-800. not sure if i shud cancel since this is my 2nd time…ehh

Hiking: correct

yea box 1 = 6

the question was asking which of the following is equal to the equation given which included boxes

“I thought it was a prism, not a pyramid… (square rectangular prism) Then it would be area of the base times the height. so you just x’ed everything together (you had to do 1 substitution)”

can you give me the whole problem please?

I don’t remember. I just remember the length or heighth was a variable and there were two other equations for the other two. Then you had to make a substitution… I thought it was volume… If it was area, I got it wrong, but I know my answer was in the choices.

why the reflection of the point P(3;2) about y=-x is (-3;-2)? I think this is the reflection about the origin, I put that the point reflected is (-2;-3)

This is a reflection about y=x
http://regentsprep.org/Regents/math/geometry/GT1/xygraph.gif

I graphed it and by observing came up with -3, -2.

its -2, -3. what did you get for the xy^4-3y=2x^2+xy one. how many times cross x-axis

dam. i think andre is rite.

43 raw score so far… too close this is bad

2 times, set y = 0

post your raw scores so far?

wouldnt that be 1 time then?
