Math Level II December 3, 2011 Curve/Discussion

What do you guys think a raw of 38 would be on this test? I know the sparknotes chart is probably inaccurate.

Physics: I took it in October with Spanish. I got a 660 on it then… Studied a lot this month. Expecting/praying for 760+

what is that answer choice? for the ellipse?

what do you guys think the curve will be? hopefully generous, because my precalc and alg2trig classes didn’t cover things like standard deviation and polar functions

based off my collegeboard book its a 750. do you think we went over all the hard questions with this stuff? if so i think i might still have a chance for a 800 if the curve is fine

Picordy: My school hardly covered any of these topics… I learned basically everything on my own. Killer.

When do scores come out? I feel more anxious than I did when I was receiving my ACT results… Will a 760 on this test look bad at the Ivies? I did well on other subject tests…

last two questions were really hard…

december 22 or something i think. im pretty sure a 760 wont look good at hyp but it should be fine at cornell brown

they should come out around the 20th

3 weeks. so dec 24.

guys lets get the rest of the questions. if we can we can already predict our scores.

Dawgydawg: :stuck_out_tongue: Are you guys strong in math? When I first set out to study for this test, I knew hardly anything. It was so daunting at times.

i dont remember any more lol

my math class didnt teach me a lot of the stuff but i moved to my 3rd school, a boarding school and im a junior, and tested into calc bc. im good at math but ive seen many people who are better than i am

This test was definitely not as easy as I initially thought. That’s why the curve is so great… The precision involved is immense, especially in a one-hour setting with so much pressure.

I skipped about 7 and missed a couple… is it still possible to get 700+?

scscience. If you skipped seven and missed three, I assure that got a 700+.

ones i didnt get rite: 3 stupid mistakes…

last one
distance one, like 3rd to last
t asked for the smallest perfect cube.
Negative Integer with the 42 thing: -6
reflection y=-x

skipped:

like 37? one with 6 radius to plane point 6 more find area
difference between the number and it’s squared, meaning n and n^2.

to those of you who have taken this test before: how did your score compare with your math score on sat reasoning?

can someone post the consolidated thread with all the new answers?

there are 2k+ views, shudnt we be able to get all the answers? haha

for some people this test is bigger but for others its smaller. for me its smaller
