I need help preparing for the SAT Subject test : Math Level II

Although at this point I have Barron's and Dr. John Chung's book to practice with and do the tests, is there any other things I could practice on?

If you can get 700+ with Barron’s, you are good to go.

If you can get in the upper 600’s in Barron’s, you are good to go. I got 680 on the practice test before the actual test and I got a 780 on the real one.

The Official Collegeboard book for subject tests is helpful. I just went through both practice tests in that to familiarize myself with the format, and got an 800!!!

Barrons is definitely the way to go. I received scores ranging from 730 to 750 on those practice tests and ended up getting an 800 on the real test, with 15 minutes at the end to just relax. The thorough practice with the tougher-level problems with Barrons provides ample preparation to easily ace the exam.

@sirswish7 can you give me some tips as I am aiming for 800 as well? Please and Thanks in advance :D

is logic still being tested in math ii? Stuff like: If he studies, he will pass the course. If he did not pass the test, he did not study.

@sparkl3 Nope

@KaranMIT It’s really all about Barrons. Do all of the practice tests and really review why you got a question wrong. Was it a concept you didn’t understand? Did you not understand the wording of the question?

Make a little note sheet with the concepts you are missing regularly. Try to go over those concepts and then do more problems in those areas. Review the note sheet a few days before the test. You should be able to think to yourself “Oh, yeah, ___! That means they might ask me these types of problems. I know this concept and how to apply it to types of problems.”

@sirswish7 THANK YOU! I started doing that even my dad think that is the best statergy. You are a great person, mate. Just out of curiousity I’ve been hearing a lot about Sparknotes test for Math Level 2; however, I can’t find it! please help me, mate?

Here’s the link to the sparknotes scoring for Math2. If you look at around the top, you’ll see a drag down table of contents. This is basically like a mini review book plus practice tests

You don’t really need to prepare for it. Just take as many practice tests as you can so that you eliminate careless errors and get really familiar with the format and types of questions asked.

I’ve seen logic on all of the practice tests I’ve done.

And that’s the point of preparation.
