Hi, guys.
Well, to make a long story short, I took Math Level IIC test last month. However, because I made few stupid mistakes, I have to take it again in few days.
I do not remember any of the questions, but I remember one question about standard deviation with the graph on it.
Anyone know how to do that problem? whoever took the test and have it.
Also, can you guys just give me some problems?
I solved all the problems from spark, barrons, CB, PR, and Kaplan.
I basically finished all the books out there.
SO.
yeah
thanks

Don't worry about standard deviation. It's such an obscure topic that takes unnecessary time to learn that could be spent reviewing other concepts. Btw, if you were really able to get through those 5 books (meaning 15+ practice exams) and are still feeling shaky, your time is better spent reviewing what you got wrong rather than doing new problems.

Just some really quick Stat for you:

Standard deviation is the measure of how much the data deviates from the mean. It's a constant.

When given a graph and asked something about standard deviation, just use Empirical Rule:

1 SD covers ~67% of the area under the curve
2 SD covers ~95% of the area under the curve
3 SD covers ~99% of the area under the curve

It's really that simple. You can tell by looking at it.

^ lol it doesnt go into stats that much it's just basic standard deviation i think...(x - mean)/sd or w/e

Standard deviation is the measure of how much the data deviates from the mean. Standard deviation doesn't change if you multiply all the numbers in the set by a number. Mean and median do though. That's pretty much all you need to know lol.
