Math- LSA req

What is the easiest way to earn the Quantitative math requirement? What math class is the least challenging is what I'm basically asking.

And also how many semesters are needed to fulfill the req?

I found the LSA faqs online, but it does not state the number of semesters needed

Considering whatever math class you take will probably have you grade based in comparison to others taking the course, just take the math you’d be most motivated in.

"# passing one course of three of more credits designated for full QR credit (QR/1); or

passing two courses (at least one of which must be of three or more credits) designated for half QR credit (QR/2)."

So basically it will be 1 legitimate math class, or two classes which sort of use math.

If you were thinking of perhaps taking Chem 130 (Which is just basic general Chemistry) and Econ 101 (which is introduction to microecon) then you will fulfill the requirement with no additional class.

If you don’t plan on those and want to get it done in 1 class, I imagine Math 105 is the easiest way to get it done.

English Majors use calculus on a daily basis
