Math Major Transfer

Hello,

I am a transfer student and I was accepted to UCLA for Applied Math, UCSB for Financial Math and Stats, UCSD for Math/Computer Science, and UCI for Math. I’m really having trouble deciding between UCSB and UCLA because I heard they both have great math programs. The only thing that is making me doubt choosing UCLA is the competition and the difficulty of their Math department. Of course Math is a difficult major, but I heard that UCLA is especially difficult. I also heard that many transfers are struggling to maintain their GPA or think that the classes are very very difficult. UCSB math students may have more free time and could pursue internships if available.

My questions are:
Which is the better choice?
Will UCLA Math really be super difficult or will it be manageable as long as I put in the effort and don’t procrastinate?
Do UCSB Math majors have great opportunities for internships and for post grad?
Do most Math majors end up in grad school right after graduating or are there plenty of jobs after graduating?

Any insightful responses would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thank you!
