A few of my friends, that also belong to the college of letter and science, have already received an email regarding of when to take the math placement exam online. I’m also in the college of letter and science, but I have yet to see this email. I’m a bit worried at the moment. Anyone else in the same boat as me or willing to calm me down?

did you check your UC DAVIS e-mail? https://www.google.com/a/ucdavis.edu/acs

did you also sign up for orientation yet?
I got mine and I got in the college of engineering so I would find it strange you didn’t yet. If you haven’t email them immediately

Not so fast… I don’t think the college of engineering got their emails yet regarding when they can register. I wouldn’t expect engineering to receive these until July-ish.

However, if you log on and look at your UC Davis email, you will likely see an email arounf May 24 saying this:

During June and July, the campus will invite students via your UC Davis email account (or email address on file) to complete the Math Placement Exam online. Students will take the exam as follows:

College of Letters & Science: June 7 - June 16
College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences: June 21 - June 30
College of Biological Sciences: July 5 - July 14
College of Engineering: July 19 - July 28

Do they give you a specific date as to when to take the exam in that email? Or can you take it during any day of the specified period… for example, I’m in the College of Engineering, so can I take the placement test anytime between July 19 - July 28?

You can take it anytime between that time period. BTW does anyone know what will happen if you missed your math placement test? Like when we will be able to make up for it?

I’m pretty sure you make it up at orientation
