Does anyone have any tips or experience with this? Apparently I need to take a math placement exam and I've already missed the workshops to prep you for them, so has anyone taken it and knows what will be on it?

I was unaware that there were any workshops. It was pretty simple stuff for the most part and the highest it goes is trig. Lots of people struggled with the last section (the hardest trig), but besides that it’s just algebra and simple geometry. I’d say most of it was on about the same level as SAT math. All you really need to do is make sure you have paper for scratch work, a calculator (though they say no graphing calculators allowed, I think), and time set aside in a quiet place to get work done.

I took regular precalc senior year of high school and then struggled on parts of the placement test…

And I was placed into the highest math class they place people into (math140 or 141, I forget).

Don’t sweat it too much haha
