Math Placement Exam

What happens if we can't take the math placement exams on the testing dates (i.e., before school starts)?

There will be alternate dates provided. You will be notified via campus email once you have accepted your SIR. Also at the various university bookstores they have inexpensive booklets of what will be covered on the placement exams. If you are at all concerned you can order them online or pick them up during a visit.

will there be an event in the summer before we attend school?..like an orientation kind of thing? thnk u

can't we take the math placement exam online?

Nope, they only have them on the UC campuses.

oh ok, thanks!

OK, I can't make it to the testing site because they're on my prom and my graduation, so I'm planning on taking the test when school starts. I got a message from the testing office saying that I could test on the first day (I think it was Sept. 27) and sign up for the math courses the next day.

Now, my question is: How full is Math 20A? I'll be registering for it on the campus after school starts, so I need to know if I can get the course for the first quarter or not.

^^I have the same problem. Prom is the night before the testing and I will probably end up leaving prom early because the testing is more important.

I'm pretty sure I would too if it weren't for the fact that I'm over a thousand miles away from the testing site. The inconvenience of the dates just back up my reasons for not going.
