Math placement exam!

Here's the deal:

I took the AP for Calc. BC junior year, and I got a 4. Washu only exempts those who have received 5's from the placement exam. I'm not going to lie, I do not want to take the exam again seeing that I have forgotten the majority of the material covered in calc. Also, I've been a pretty decent math student - 800 Math II, 770 Math SAT, A+'s in all my math classes throughout high school.

So the question is, is there anyway that I can avoid the exam and be automatically placed into math 233?

Isn't the placement exam online?

yeah - but i still won't have time to review everything

I don't think that there is any way of getting out of it. You can check the website to see if there are any loopholes http://www.math.wustl.edu/placement/ but I don't think there are.
If you read the site, it says the test is designed to be taken when you've been out of school for awhile, and it is recommended that you NOT study for it. I think it will just see if you understand enough of calculus to do well in Calc 3.

ivyracer, i'm in literally the exact same situation. i know how you feel! I think we're just screwed.

lol, yeah, i think i'll just suck it up and prepare for it so i can take calc 3.
