<p>I'm a bio major at ucla. I have orientation at ucla on aug. 22. I don't know if I have to take any math placement exams at orientation. I got a 3 on the ap calc ab subscore, and a 2 on calc bc. What math classes does a bio major require?</p>

<p>you need to take the math placement exam. for most bio majors, u’ll take life science math which is the 3 series. physical science majors is more of the 30 series</p>
<p>BTW, people at my orientation told me the math placement exam is a joke. Don’t worry.</p>
