do you know when we'll get our results? i took mine on june 28th.

like in two weeks or somethin

Less than a week for me. I took it saturday and got it upcoming thursday.

I took the test June 28th and got my results on Tuesday.

do you get in through mail?

check your “my test scores” in myucr

which math course is calculus?

i believe it is math22.

there’s a bunch of math classes with calc -

math 9A
math 9B
math 9C

and then the multivariable and business calculus, I forget what their class numbers were

The calculus class in high school is represented by math9A

well,
Calculus AB is 9A, so if you passed the AP test you go to 9B

and Calculus BC is 9B, so you go to 9C

My friend got placed into math22 after the placement test. : o !

i could have taken 9C but opted to take 9B instead after chatting with the adviser

Lol I just jumped for 9C…

try and get the most credits out of AP’s as possible

That was my original intentions but i was getting horror stories about freshmen jumping into 9C in first quarter by the counselor lol

Lol

Dunno, I wasn’t really worried because of how I did in math back in high school

Not that I’m good at it, but that my teacher was really good

he tells us stories about how his kids are doing well in calc in college

Anyways I signed up for the CNAS learning community thing so I should be getting help

nice nice. which major are you doing? im doing EE

chemistry - which may mean I’m somewhat f**ked
is it really as competitive as they say it is?

wait that’s electrical engineering?

I think I’m better off than you then, physics is hard

I bombed the electricity tests in high school

i heard it is pretty hard but you should be fine as long as you study.

If you are doing premed… half the school is your competition lol

Ok now I wanna run away…

cuz I am planning premed…

in fact my parents mention thomas haider a lot, but that’s somewhat impossible

Dunno. I heard about this residential honors program thing that the top 1 percent of the college get into thing, so I’m guessing I should go for that

I don’t think I’m quite cut out to be a med gunner or anything though
