Also,Is Calculus on the test?
@geek97 yes that is a great score! yep you should be able to take any class that you want up to calc 1, unless you have ap credit/ transfer credit that would place you even higher
@praxsubba calculus is not on the test! it has algebra and trigonometry on it, but definitely not calculus. i’m not sure if it is similar to SAT math because i forget. however, this is not a test you need to study for and get the highest score you can. this is just to assist you in choosing your classes. i mean it wouldnt hurt to review algebra and trig topics, but if you genuinely do not know the material, you probably should not be jumping into the most advanced math course possible. also, i hate to say this, but if it is online, it is probably really easy to cheat on. i also don’t recommend this either, since you shouldn’t try to place yourself into a class you aren’t ready for. but this really isn’t a high stakes test.
@tennisgirl6 i believe the second part is trigonometry and i learned that in precalculus. i don’t remember it well (since i took it a year ago) but it definitely isn’t like intense precalc word problems or anything. simple stuff i think.
@Darksand99 yeah! that sounds great for you. i thought i wanted to be a social studies teacher, but i realized that although i love certain parts of history, i could not devote 4 years to reading and writing so much of it when some of it i found really boring. instead i am majoring in sociology (still considering double major or minor(s)), which is sorta similar as far as social studies goes, but not trying for teaching licensure.
@paws27 Thank you so much
@mahifan Sorry for the late reply! You probably took the test by now but still yes it is basic level. You still might want to just look over formulas and basic properties once before beginning
@paws27 Thank you!!
@paws27 Hi just took it and got 30/30 followed by 9/10. However under the assignments list there is a green checkmark next to the 30/30 but no green checkmark next to the 9/10, is that normal?
