So I am currently accepted into UCF’s college of engineering and just took my math placement test. I got a 64% so I got placed into college algebra. I felt good throughout the entire test and felt like I should have only gotten 3 or 4 wrong but anyway. I have gotten As and Bs in all of my honors math classes through high school and am currently enrolled in a dual enrollment course with seton hall university in NJ for Calc 1. I have an A in that class and am almost garrenteed the credit in that class. So my question is
Will my credit carry over and I won’t be in college algebra?
Should I be worried?
Thanks in advance to anyone who answers.
The info page from UCF on this says that you will not be placed in a class for which you already have credit, or below a class for which you already have credit. So if you get Calc I dual enrollment credit, you won’t have to retake it or College Algebra.
