So I recently took the Math Placement Test and though it is embarrassing for me to admit this, I didn’t score high enough for ANY of the introductory math courses. Does anyone know what math classes I’ll end up having to take or whether, where, and when I can retake the test? Thanks!

UCD offers Elementary Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, and Trigonometry, but you get no credit in those classes.

Kazooeh … What was the highest Math class you took in your highschool?

And when did you take it? Like Senior year last semester or first semester? Or junior year? Lastly , what is your major?

And there is nothing to get embarrassed. THOUSANDS of kids don’t even make into Davis … so yeah chill:D

Yeah I don’t feel pathetic at all.

Junior year I took pre-calc but I thought it would be wise to take easier math courses my senior year since I doubled up on sciences and took intro to problem solving and stats (both of which I aced). I’m majoring in Neurobiology, Physiology, Behavior so I’m sure math is going to be a part of the overall curriculum.

Oh and to top it all off I can’t attend orientation so by the time I sign up for classes all the courses I need will be filled. I think it’s safe to say my first term if not my entire year is going to suck.
