<p>My daughter will go soon to take her math placement test. (her AP Calculus grade won't be back in time for orientation). Is there anything she can or is allowed to bring, ie: her scientific calculator? Thanks!</p>

<p>“You can prepare for the assessment by completing practice questions which are available at assess.math.sunysb.edu. The purpose of the Math Assessment is to measure your mathematical skills at this given time. To accurately determine your ability, it is essential that you rely only on what you know, without using calculators, books, and/or friends.”</p>
<p>When I attended Stony Brook, I remember taking this assessment online. However, it seems it’s in a proctored setting now. I’m sure the no-calculator rule will be enforced.</p>
