Math Placement Test

Hey I’m an incoming freshman majoring in business administration and on my course grid it says that I should take Math 118 this fall. I just took my math placement test and even though I was connected to the internet, some of the questions wouldn’t load and it wouldn’t save my answers (frustrating). After the hour limit was up it gave me my score and placed me in Math 108, 116, or 117.

How does this work if my course schedule tells me to take math 118 this fall? Can I just disregard the placement test and tell my academic advisor I want to be in math 118 - is there anyway I can be in Math 118 in the fall or do I have to go by what the placement test says? Because I don’t want to be behind everyone else.

You should take 118. Contact someone at the school, tell what you said here, and request to retake the placement test.
