hi everyone i have ucla orientation next week and have a question about the math placement exam. I signed up for the test before I got my AP scores back. I got a 4 on AP calc. Does anyone know if i still have to take the test? or do i automatically place out? Does anyone know a number i can call to find out?

i think you automatically place out and get 4 credits......

Uhm, which AP calc? I remember hearing that you get skipped if you get a 4/5 on calc BC but you still have to take the placement exam if you got a 4 on AB.

i took AB. oh god

look, calm down, i took it w/o a calc and half asleep from the morning lectures and i passed with like 85%. you'll do fine.

Just FYI, but if even if you fail the placement test at orientation, you can take it again during zero week and still enroll in a math class if there's room. They administer the exact same test both times, so if you fail it at orientation, at least you know what to expect next time.

hater of haters,

how do u find out your score? no one told me after i took the test. same w/ the spanish one.

Your Orientation Counselor should've talked to you about it and told you about your placement.

yeah, what mme-lin said
